APG 0810H65 (APG 215 CS UP)
Prtoduct Introduction
Caprylyl/Decyl Glucoside APG215 CS UP is a high-performance surfactant, belonging to the alkyl polyglucoside class. It consists of naturally sourced glucose and capryl, decyl alcohols, offering excellent biodegradability and low toxicity. Widely used in personal care and household cleaning products, it effectively reduces surface tension for gentle yet efficient cleansing. Additionally, its superior skin compatibility minimizes irritation, making it suitable for sensitive skin. High foam stability and good emulsification performance make it ideal for shampoos and shower gels.
Product Features
Gentleness
APG215 CS UP excels in skin compatibility due to its unique molecular structure. Its hydrophilic groups, derived from natural glucose, effectively reduce skin irritation. Clinical tests show that using cleaning products with APG215 CS UP reduces adverse reactions in sensitive skin users by over 30%, significantly enhancing product gentleness and user satisfaction.
Foam Stability
APG215 CS UP demonstrates excellent foam stability. Its moderate-length alkyl chains form stable, long-lasting foam. Data indicates APG215 CS UP's foam stability is 40% higher than traditional surfactants, providing sustained cleansing effects while reducing product usage and improving user experience.
Emulsification Performance
APG215 CS UP performs exceptionally well in oil-water emulsification. Its balanced hydrophilic and hydrophobic groups create a stable emulsion film at the oil-water interface. Studies show that products using APG215 CS UP as an emulsifier have 30% better emulsion stability, significantly extending product shelf life and effectiveness.

Product guidance
APG 0810H65 demonstrates excellent caustic stability and solubility in both caustic and saline solutions. Thanks to its superior wetting and dispersing properties, APG 0810H65 is suitable for cleaning hard surfaces in caustic, neutral, and acidic environments, making it ideal for household and institutional use. Furthermore, APG 0810H65 exhibits outstanding solubilizing properties in highly concentrated surfactant solutions, even in the presence of salts and alkalis.
Processing Instructions
APG 0810H65 is self-preserved due to an elevated pH level. This elevated pH causes APG 0810H65 to have a hazy appearance. By reducing the pH value, for example, with citric acid to below 8.5, the cloudiness specific to the product disappears, thereby allowing for the formulation of clear products. However, below a pH of 11.5, APG 0810H65 is no longer sufficiently protected against microbial contamination, meaning that the end formulation must be preserved appropriately.
APG 0810H65 demonstrates excellent solubility, stability, surface activity, and interfacial activity in concentrated saline and alkaline solutions. It can also serve as a coupling agent in concentrated surfactant systems, even in the presence of salts and alkalis. APG 0810H65 is compatible with all other classes of surface-active agents. Additionally, APG 0810H65 can be easily stored and handled at room temperature.
Storage and transportation
APG 0810H65 should be stored in sealed, original containers, protected from frost, and maintained below 40 °C to ensure a minimum shelf life of at least one year. The recommended maximum storage temperature for APG 0810H65 is 43°C. When heating the product, avoid prolonged localized temperatures above 43°C to prevent potential discoloration. If possible, use tempered water during the heating process.
Low-pressure steam can be used if the product is monitored on a regular basis.
For bulk storage materials, carbon steel should not be used to store or handle APG 0810H65 due to the risk of iron contamination. Instead, it is recommended to use plastic drums or Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), as both are acceptable storage solutions.
